Where clinical science becomes confident hands.
Confident hands start here.
Functional Aesthetics Training Center of Michigan (FATCM) gives licensed RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, and DOs real, supervised hands-on training in aesthetic injection, grounded in anatomy, evidence, and honest mentorship.
Small cohorts. Real hands. No fluff.
FATCM equips licensed healthcare professionals with supervised, evidence-based aesthetics training grounded in anatomy, safety, and genuine mentorship.
We teach injectable skills the way we practice it: in small groups, with direct feedback, real chair time, and a clear respect for patient safety.
No 200-person ballrooms. No watching from the back row. Just real chair time and honest feedback.
Aesthetics education, the way it should be taught.
Science first.
Anatomy, safety, and evidence anchor everything we teach.
Hands-on by design.
Students inject consented models under direct supervision at a licensed medical practice with physician oversight.
Mentorship that continues.
Training does not end when the in-person day ends. Students receive continued access to FATCM mentors and the online education portal.
Built for Michigan providers.
FATCM is designed for licensed RNs, NPs, PAs, MDs, and DOs with an active Michigan license who want to enter aesthetics or strengthen their foundation.
Proof of an active Michigan license is required.
The first cohort is forming now.
Hands-On Introduction to Neurotoxins: Upper Face is the first FATCM course. It combines online foundations with a supervised in-person training day focused on glabella, forehead, and crow’s feet.
You will learn how to assess, map, dose, document, and inject with guidance from experienced working injectors.

FATCM is led by Lindsey Perlmutter, MSN, RN, CNL, owner and lead injector of Veda Skin & Laser, and Haley Outcalt, FNP, owner of Aesthetic Evolution.
Together, Lindsey and Haley pair deep injector-training experience with real-world, multi-location practice: the internal and the external, the art and the science.
